DevelopWell’s hiring approach centers around a rigorous and inclusive process that generates a pool of candidates with the skills, qualities, and experience required to step fully into the position.

During this critical phase, the DevelopWell team will lead you through a series of conversations to set a solid foundation for the search process. This phase will include:
Engagement with key stakeholders to collect input that we will use to inform the hiring criteria for the role and prepare people for future participation in key stages of the recruitment process.
Development of the core criteria, responsibilities, and requirements for the position, culminating in the development of a final job description and public job listing.
Finalization of the timeline and phases of the hiring process, including development of a hiring rubric, interview questions, and hiring exercise (if applicable).

This phase will be primarily led by the DevelopWell team, and will begin with the launch of the process and posting of the position. Active recruitment, outreach, and initial screening interviews will follow the initial job posting.

Once we’ve recruited a substantive pool of qualified candidates who meet the criteria and hiring process goals we developed together, the interview process will begin, with key stakeholders meeting with selected candidates. We will provide interview materials and prepare interviewers as needed to establish consistency and ensure that an equitable process is followed.
The interview process will be a combination of job simulation, panel interviews, and one-on-one relationship-building engagements, with the goal of providing both the candidate and organization with a robust amount of information to make informed decisions about qualifications and fit for the roles.
